About Me
Thank you for visiting my site! I’m Christy, a writer, editor, and researcher with years of experience creating original, compelling content tailored to each client’s unique voice and vision. By combining creativity with strategic insight, I develop messaging that resonates with my clients’ target audiences while staying true to their brand identities. Whether crafting website copy, articles, or thought leadership pieces, I aim to deliver high-quality content that informs, inspires, and drives engagement.
My work as a writer is grounded in a deeper inquiry into how we make sense of the world. I’m a PhD candidate at the California Institute for Human Science, studying what happens when we change the lens through which we understand mental health. Many individuals encounter the mental health system through diagnostic labels — categories that can flatten the experience, fragment care across specialists, and quietly convince us we’re broken rather than out of balance. My research explores what becomes possible when we start from a different premise: that symptoms across mind, body, and spirit are often connected expressions of a single pattern, and that understanding the pattern, not just naming the disorder, is what makes healing navigable.
I draw on whole-person psychology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and an ecological understanding of well-being that recognizes we are not separate from the environments we live in. I’m passionate about restoring wholeness, not as an abstract ideal but as a practical starting point for how we understand ourselves, how we seek help, and how we heal. I’m currently developing projects at the intersection of mental health navigation, nature connection, and frameworks that treat the whole person rather than the parts.
